Terms and conditions

Deposit and Cancellation
To secure your booking a 50% deposit is required. The deposit can be made per credit card or EFT. Refunds of deposits paid for bookings are at the discretion of Sweetwater Guesthouse and are dependent on ability to resell the rooms. The balance is due 7 days prior to arrival. 

Minimum stay
We offer stays of two nights or more.

Discounts
Sweetwater offers different discounts due to availability. In principle, there is no legal right to discounts unless confirmed at the time of booking. Only one discount can be applied per booking.  

Damages, losses or injuries
Sweetwater Guesthouse cannot be held responsible for any damages, losses or injuries sustained while on the property. Please park your car inside the property and leave no valuables in the car.

Check-in and check-out
The check-in is between 15:00 and 21:00. The latest check-out is at 11:00. Other times can be arranged if the cottages are available accordingly.

Night rest
We ask our guests to keep the night's rest from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Events and parties are not allowed.

Registration
After your booking is finalized you will be asked to send the names of all travelling guests to Sweetwater Guesthouse. Only the registered guests have the right to enter the property. 

Wedding preparation
In order not to impair the stay of our other guests, we can only accept wedding preparations if all 4 units have been booked by the wedding party. Please note that wedding preparations at our property is by appointment only. At the time of your booking we will need to be informed of your arrangements for the entire duration of your stay. Furthermore we ask for a refundable deposit of ZAR 3000.

Housekeeping
On the third day of your stay we will clean your cottage and change the towels, you put on the floor. On the sixth day of your stay we will also change the linen. More can be agreed at any time.  

Pool
Use of the pool at your own risk, only for swimmers. Our pool has a depth from up to 2 meters and is neither secured nor monitored. Children has to supervised.

Sauna

The use of the sauna is intended for exclusive use (family, friends). The booking must be made at least 90 minutes before the start of the session. Sauna times are from 12:00 - 21:00.

Pets
Because of our own animals, pets are not allowed on the property.

Smoking
Inside our cottages and at the pool area smoking is strictly forbidden.
